FLORALS:
One of my very favorite things, flowers, amaze me in their complex, extraordinary patterns, and a color palette available only to Mother Nature. In my home growing up, there was a Japanese Tokanoma (a small alcove) where simple, seasonal floral arrangements were displayed.
