Clouds

The goals in my Clouds series were to seamlessly blend one color into the next while creating hopping-off-the-canvas color and 3-D effects. I often come back to a painting, sometimes months later, as was the case in the painting below, Geometry Cloud. As I kept staring at it, I felt the addition of the geometry and swirling vortexes would be unexpected and kinetic.
